During the winter of 2014-2015, the Norwegian dredging company SeaBed Services conducted the dredging of 14 hectares of wetlands in the nature reserve Slevdalsvann at Lista, a key bird migration area. In just 12 weeks SeaBed Services completed the job thanks to their IMS 7012HP. No other contractor in Norway dared take on the assignment due to the sensitivity of the area and for lack of suitable equipment. The County Governor's office were very pleased with the low cost and described SeaBed Services work as "exceptional".

On May 29th, IMS Dredges was awarded the United States' President's Export Award at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. The Secretary of Commerce, Penny Pritzker presented the award to IMS Global Sales Director Ryan Horton and IMS Founder and President Jim Horton.

The Norwegian dredging company SeaBed Services that specializes in dredging contaminated sediment in the North Sea and Norwegian fjords / marinas invested in a VersiDredge 7012HP with environmentally friendly auger cutter to minimise turbidity. They dredged their first inlet / marina in less than one week.
