The main advantage of a WeedMaster compared to conveyor-type weed harvesters is that rather than having to load and unload the weeds onto a barge, the weeds get chopped into 4-6 inch long pieces and are either pumped to an on-shore disposal area or broadcast up to 50 feet to the side.

 

The RazorTooth Cutter on the Weedmaster attaches directly to a 5012, 7012 or ForeRunner model simply by detaching the SandMaster cutter with simple hand tools.

 

Capacity: The amount of vegetation that the WeedMaster can effectively remove varies depending on density and length. On average one can remove approximately one hectare (1,000 m2) per day.

 

The RazorTooth Cutter is 6.5 feet (2.75 meters) wide and has been designed in such a way that it can handle many types of aquatic vegetation, both floating, submerged and rooted. A weed rake attachment is available and weeds up to 6 feet (2.5 meters) pose no challenge. The Weedmaster is also equipped with flanges that clear the cutterhead as it rotates.
